Description
CliniSwabVIRUS is a room-temperature-stable viral transport medium suitable for the transport and preservation of clinical samples containing viruses (Influenza A (H1N1), adenovirus, cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus, parainfluenza, respiratory syncytial virus, varicella zoster virus, HPV - human papillomavirus etc.), chlamydia, mycoplasma and ureaplasma, and can be used in the laboratory for culturing. It consists of a balanced buffer solution to maintain a neutral pH, antimicrobial agents and a preservative. The viability of the organisms is maintained at room temperature and on ice, and the product is also suitable for long-term storage in the freezer. This product is not intended for the collection and transport of general bacterial and fungal samples. Sample tubes with red screw cap containing 1 ml or 3 ml of liquid transport medium for viruses, pre-labeled to enable correct sample identification. CliniSwabVIRUS are sterile (SAL 10-6), pyrogen-free and non-cytotoxic.
